Sandra C. Hofmann

For the past four years, Sandra Hofmann has served as “Chief Information Officer-in-Residence” with the Advanced Technology Development Center, a nationally recognized science and technology incubator headquartered at Georgia Tech that helps Georgia entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. Most recently she was chief operating officer at Closets and More, the Southeast’s largest custom closet design, installation, and manufacturer. Prior to that, Hofmann served as executive vice president and COO for Turknett Leadership Group, a character based management and consulting firm. Over 14 years, Hofmann held various executive management positions at IBM within the application development area as well as senior executive positions in customer service and support with several manufacturing software companies. She was also the first woman executive at Simplex where she served as vice president of technical services. Hofmann’s influence reaches beyond her professional undertakings and she is very engaged in her community with the promotion of technology and ethical leadership. She serves on the Board of Directors for AAA Auto Club South, TechBridge, Women in Technology, and is the past chairman for the Board of Directors for Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-Atlanta chapter) and past compensation committee chair for the AkroMetrix Board of Directors.
